A project by Pictoric, in collaboration with Palazzo Blu, Pisa Book Festival and the Embassy of Ukraine.
Held as part of the Pisa Book Festival, which in 2026 will have Ukraine as its Guest Country, the exhibition presents 16 works by artists from the Pictoric collective. Founded in 2014, the group brings together Ukrainian illustrators committed to promoting the country’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage through exhibitions, workshops, talks, and lectures.
The works on display have been selected to showcase various aspects of Ukraine’s history and traditions: folk celebrations and songs, colourful textiles and local dishes, as well as the wild landscapes of its parks, mountains, and vast steppe. Together, they form a mosaic-like view, with each tile inviting visitors to explore the vibrant culture of the country.
